I am in year year three of my slow and steady reading of City of God, taking just five chapters of each book per week. Each Friday, I share notes from my reading with a friend, who returns the favor. As of January 2025, we are pushing 700 pages into this masterpiece.
Augustine carries on extensive debates with notables of his day and takes us on a deep and careful read of the Scriptures as he traces the City of God.
